Clinical Dietitian for many years and has been at St George’s Cancer Care Centre since it opened in 2010.
Julie graduated with an Honours in Human Nutrition from Otago University and spent a year as a dietetic intern before becoming a New Zealand Registered Dietitian in 1989.
Julie is a member of Dietitians New Zealand, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and its Oncology Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group.
“I love the work I do, as I believe that having a good nutritional status positively influences and supports cancer treatment. As a Clinical Dietitian I can help optimise cancer treatment by individualising a nutrition plan based on the type of treatment required.”
