COVID-19 & Flu Vaccinations
We follow the Ministry of Health guidelines regarding the safety protocols associated with COVID-19. This is to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
We take the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff seriously. All visitors to the centre, including patients and their support people, are asked to follow our safety precautions to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Covid-19
Visitors must wear a surgical/medical mask when entering and moving around the Cancer Care Centre.
Please use the hand sanitisers provided when entering our facility.
If you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms, please do not come to the centre. Call us to reschedule your appointment on 03 375 6100.
Note: some clinic appointments can be done via video or phone link if required.
Flu Vaccinations
It is recommended that patients with a cancer diagnosis receiving an anti-cancer treatment have their annual flu vaccination. The vaccination can be given at any time during treatment, however for patients receiving chemotherapy it is advised that the vaccination be timed just prior to a treatment dose.
