General Manager Appointment
It gives us great pleasure to announce the appointment of Caroline Stark to the newly created position of General Manager, St George’s Cancer Care. This newly created role will focus on leading and managing the strategic requirements of the Centre, growing the service offerings, technical capacity, and quality delivery of evidence-based treatment in the Centre.
Caroline has a deep background in the health sector having spent the last 10 years in senior leadership roles within healthcare in Australia managing the on-base health services for the Australian Defence Force and leading health services for a number of government and private organisations.
She returned home in 2019 and joins us from RESS (Restorative Elective Surgical Services) where she holds the position of Business Manager. RESS was established to pilot with ACC new Escalated Care Pathway programmes aimed at reducing delays in receiving treatment and improving patient outcomes
In her spare time Caroline enjoys spending time with family and friends, and being active in outdoor pursuits of hiking, cycling and paddle boarding. She also volunteers at the SPCA.
Caroline joins us on Monday 13 June, and we look forward to welcoming her to our team.
