Tivanka completed his medical training in the UK prior to moving to New Zealand as a radiation oncology registrar. He also completed a Clinical Fellowship in palliative radiation oncology at the University of Toronto. Tivanka has a passion for education and delivery high quality care to patients. He splits his time between Dunedin and Christchurch, ensuring greater access for patients across the South Island.
