Dr Feng-Yi Soh

Qualified in Singapore and having trained in Oncology at Christchurch Hospital, Dr Soh started his Consultant career in the Scottish Highlands in 2016. He is dual-qualified in Radiation and Clinical Oncology, being the first ANZ trainee to be accredited in Clinical Oncology by the General Medical Council (UK). He led the Breast and Head/Neck oncology services covering the North of Scotland and Hebrides, gaining significant experience in the delivery of cancer care to rural populations, and ensuring equity of care to under-served communities. He also led the implementation of Oligometastatic Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SABR) in the Highlands. He was the Principal Investigator to a number of Breast and Prostate cancer systemic and radiation therapy trials, and is a keen medical educator, examining for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK), whilst being a tutor for the renowned University of Dundee Post-graduate Medical Education courses. He was elected a Fellow in Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow in 2019.
Dr Soh is passionate about delivering timely evidence-based oncology care tailored to the needs of New Zealanders, and maintains his specialty interests in Genito-urinary, Breast and Head/Neck cancers. He returns to Christchurch to develop the MR-Linac SABR program, and to re-discover the warmth and beauty of Aotearoa New Zealand.
