Dylan graduated in medicine from the University of Otago then went on to complete his Medical Oncology training at Christchurch and Waikato hospitals. He spent a year working as an Oncology consultant in Northland, enjoying the opportunity to provide equitable oncology care to the people of Te Tai Tokerau. Since returning to Christchurch in 2020, Dylan has worked as a sub investigator for the Christchurch Oncology Research Unit, And a Medical Oncologist at Christchurch Hospital.
